How to Download Video and Audio from YouTube for free

YouTube is intended so that consumers can view and watch videos on their website only. Many consumers want their favorite YouTube clips downloaded or saved to their desktop. So they can watch them without connecting to the Internet or other devices.

Saving YouTube video as a video file on your computer :

Today, there are many websites where you can enter the URL of the video that you want to save to your laptop and get a connection to download the video file. An easy four-step method for downloading any YouTube video is provided below.

Note: These procedures may not work when blocking YouTube at a college or job.

Steps to be followed –

First, go to the video you want to download on the YouTube page. To highlight the text in the address bar, click Ctrl+L on your keyboard and then Ctrl+C to copy the Internet address. If you’re on an Apple computer, use the command button to replace Ctrl.

2. Once this address is copied, click on the link https://en.savefrom.net/ and press Ctrl+V on your keyboard to paste that address into the text field box on that page and press on the blue button.

3. Click on the browser link to download the video below the “Download the app and get your video” box. Wait for 10 to 15 seconds if you don’t see that connection right away. The video you want to download will be situated to the right.

Note: You can download a YouTube video free of charge using the “download video in browser” link. Ignore any advertisements that say a video download requires you to pay cash. To download the YouTube video, you don’t need to buy or install an app.

4. If it is performed correctly, you will see a preview of the video below the above link (as shown below), together with a green download button and the video format.

To see extra video formats like MP4, WebM, or 3GP, click the down arrow on the correct side of the Download box. More than one quality choice may also be available for each video format. Click on the green Download button to select the video format you want.

Tip:

The “MP4 360” video option will also open a fresh browser window to play the video if available in the list. Right-click the fresh browser window video and select Save video to download and save the MP4 video file.

Note: YouTube currently does not allow HD quality video to be downloaded, so the “Full HD” video option won’t work. The video file will be present in your downloads folder once the video is downloaded.

What about a private video?

You can’t download private videos because you don’t have the right to access the video for the YouTube download service.

I still can’t download a video

If you don’t get a preview like our instance after following the above measures. Make sure the link you use works by opening the page in a fresh window.
